What is the Ohio Childcare Training Professional Registry?
The Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, better known as OCCRRA, is the home for all of Ohio’s childcare professional development and training needs. The Ohio Professional Development Work Registry, also known as OPDN, is the location to search for your training. On the Registry, a wide variety of childcare training listings are provided. These range from general trainings to step up to quality, SUTQ, and Ohio Approved Trainings. Once you register for a training on the OPDN registry, it then drops that training into your PD Track. Your Professional Development Track manages all of your trainings and keep the records all in one place. The registry also has the capability to locate a specific trainer and view their credentials. AIR Child Care Training Solutions has multiple courses listed on the OPDN Registry, including SUTQ trainings.
According to the OCCRRA site, The Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association (OCCRRA) is a non–profit member association serving Ohio’s seven local child care resource and referral agencies (CCR&Rs). These CCR&Rs are regional hubs providing professional development, technical assistance, and parent services to Ohio’s 12 service delivery areas (SDAs). OCCRRA’s centralized staff provides statewide coordination of professional development services for early care learning and afterschool programs and professionals.
The Registry is a centralized information system for early childhood and afterschool professionals. Individuals track their professional growth and development and are recognized for their experience, education, credentials and training.
Ohio Childcare Training Tools
While there are many great tools available to childcare professionals, here’s two that we’ve found to be very useful.
PD Track is the online tool that allows professionals to search and register for statewide trainings delivered by multiple agencies. Trainings taken through PD Track are automatically linked to a profile on the Registry.
Search for Trainings
Trainer Search allows professionals to search for trainers who have been approved through multiple agencies, including SUTQ and ODE Professional Development.

and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations.
